We go where mainstream media is unable or unwilling to go. We explore our own psyches as much as the collective psyche. We're here to dig deeper into the collective soul.
About Vijay RxNathan
Vijay RxNathan is a librarian and poet. He published “Escape from Samsara” and “Celebrity Sadhana: Or, How to Meditate with a Hammer”. Poets of Queens published "Breakdown Dancer". He appreciates your kind listening attention, and hopes you will co-create this podcast as a powerful and enlightening experience. Finally he is double Master winner with Library and Information Science and Mindfulness based Transpersonal Counseling degrees.
About Jessica Doe
Jessica Doe (née Mehta, Tyner), PhD is an Aniyunwiya inter/multi/anti-disciplinary poet, artist, and scholar. As a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, but born on the northwest region of Turtle Island (fka Oregon in the United States), space, place, and Indigenization are driving forces in her work, which has been described as avant-garde conceptualism. Jessica’s doctoral research focused on the intersection of female poetry and eating disorders with an emphasis on Sylvia Plath. As a Fulbright Senior Scholar in Bengaluru, India, she curated an anthology of contemporary Indian poetry written in the colonizer’s tongue.
About Douglas G. Cala
Douglas G. Cala is a spoken word performance poet, photographer/videographer and editor from New York. Getting his start on the cafe open mic circuit in the mid 2000s, Douglas has gone on to headline a variety of venues around the East Coast. These include feature showcases at The Cutting Room, Metropolitan Room, NJPAC, Brooklyn College, Manhattanville College, Columbia University, Bowery Poetry Club, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Busboys and Poets, the IMPerfect Gallery, Cornelia Street Cafe, Sidewalk Cafe, Parkside Lounge, New York Public Library, and the New York City Poetry Festival on Governors Island, among many others.
