RFB launches RFB Top 10 listener rankings
For the first time, Radio Free Brooklyn is publishing its listener rankings publicly as a way to celebrate listener engagement and help our community discover our most popular shows. Show rankings overall, for all music programming and all talk programming will be published across RFB platforms monthly.
RFB’s long-running music show Aural Medication (Fridays, 11 AM ET) took number 1 on the overall programming and music charts for March 2024, according to monthly RFB listener data.
Aural Medication features a mix of local, national, and international music, and ranges from the old to the new.
Number 2 on the overall programming chart goes to Mothers of Connection (Saturdays, 9 AM ET), an RFB show since 2019 hosted by Kent. If you love Frank Zappa and the musicians influenced by him, this is the show to listen to each week. Listen live every Saturday at 9 AM.
Third place for April goes to RFB veteran show Queer State of Mind (Saturdays, 12 PM ET), which has also led the Talk programming chart at number 1 since the beginning of 2024. Queer State of Mind is a talk-leaning but music-heavy show featuring voices, news, culture, and more from Black, Queer perspectives.
More amazing shows round out the top ten overall including RFB’s weekly political talk show Objection to the Rule (Sundays, 1 PM ET), RFB OG show Art Star Scene Radio (Saturdays 7 PM ET), Orcs and Dorks (Saturdays 11 AM) and more.
