Good Textures
Hosted by Kyle Vines LIVE every Tuesday at 5:00am
Good Textures is a deep-listening radio show built around the belief that music deserves our time and attention. Each episode explores sound, texture, and diverse musical traditions through intentional selections and patient pacing.
The show moves across ambient, experimental, modern classical, spiritual jazz, downtempo, and left-field electronic music; often leaning into long-form compositions and immersive atmospheres that unfold over time.
Each episode serves as an invitation to step out of the world's rapid pace and into something more deliberate.
About Kyle Vines

Kyle Vines is a Brooklyn-based music curator whose love for radio, music discovery, and the endless gem that is New York City runs deep.
After becoming obsessed with the art of radio, Kyle found himself wanting to move from consumer to producer, creating Good Textures, a project that began as a monthly mix series and has since evolved into a platform for radio shows, a newsletter, and live listening experiences.
Drawn to the idea that music can transport us into new worlds, Kyle feels a responsibility to seek out sounds that expand perspective, along with the artists, spaces, and tools that make those journeys possible.
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Kateri, and can often be found running through the city before sunrise while training for his next race, or obsessing over the latest Yankees drama.
